Using the asset management in WorkHeld, you can attach assets directly to work orders as well as individual work steps, and technicians receive detailed information at the same time. Maintenance and service work on the system is documented and automatically included in the system history.
Asset as the central point of orientation
The status management calculates the operating status of a system based on outstanding maintenance and service orders, so that you can see at a glance whether the system is currently in progress or whether work is planned. In addition, you can assign an individual plant status to each plant and assign a responsible technician.
The technicians’ documentation is linked to the respective plant via the plant management system. This allows you to trace exactly when, where and how work was carried out on a plant. Using the asset history, you can then see which parts have been replaced, which values were recorded during the last check, or whether defects have occurred recently.
The asset history enables you to evaluate how much work time has to be invested in the maintenance of a certain asset type or how often repairs had to be carried out.
Basis of the industry 4.0
Hardly any other feature of the WorkHeld platform is so closely linked to the big issues of Industry 4.0! Predictive Maintenance, Digital Twins or even Industrial IoT are keywords of digitalization, which will become meaningless without digital asset management. WorkHeld can therefore also be linked to existing IoT platforms to trigger predefined workflows based on sensor data by digitizing existing work instructions and linking them to specific events, such as the exceeding of a limit value or the occurrence of a specific error code. Experience has shown that a large proportion of possible damage events can be meaningfully mapped in this way.
